Gartner Selects Varnish Software as a 2015 Cool Vendor in Web-Scale Platforms

Oslo, London, Stockholm and New York – May 6th, 2015 – Varnish Software, the company behind the web performance engine Varnish Cache, today announced that it has been named one of this year’s “Cool Vendors in Web-Scale Platforms” by Gartner, Inc. Gartner’s annual research reports identify “Cool Vendors” in key areas of technology, evaluating these innovative vendors’ products and services. In the “Cool Vendors in Web-Scale Platforms, 2015” report(1) Gartner stated, “Organizations investing in digital business can be blindsided by unexpected success. You may need to scramble to deal with new feature demands and scalability requirements.
